Already as a student, Christian Giese advised development aid agencies and later worked in EC research projects in the Third World. From 1985, he was active in various different positions in a large Swiss bank, including controlling, company organisation, and personnel and organisational development. He has worked as a self-employed consultant, trainer and coach since 1995. His focus lies in systemic organisational development, supporting change processes in organisations, coaching management staff, team development and conflict resolution.
