Kai-Uwe Thust has over ten years of experience in matters of strategy development and implementation in the energy sector as well as in designing and supporting complex and sustainable change processes.

After completing his studies, he first worked in a research institute for technology and innovation management. A number of years in the field of corporate development followed in a large municipal utility, before he switched to a national energy company. Here he initially worked as a project manager in the areas of strategy and mergers and acquisitions. He then headed the department of process organisation in the national grid company and, together with his team, advised the board of directors and management staff on structural and process-related matters. After working for the concern’s supervisory board chairman, he is now responsible for the power generation company’s project controlling and the technical IT.
